During the classroom hours, the student will be meeting at the Beaumont Service Center in Southfield, MI. The class will
meet from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. When the student is interning, the schedule will be determined by the site manager and the instructor. These shifts may include mornings, afternoons or weekends. A total of 40 hours needs to be completed every week
whether in class or working the internship part of the program.
The program works with all eight Beaumont acute care locations, Home Infusion & Specialty pharmacies, and our Outpatient/Retail locations to provide internship opportunities. Internships will be determined by location of the student and openings
within the system for pharmacy technicians.
Rate of pay
This is a full-time paid position. The students will also be eligible for benefits and paid time off.
The students will be required to sign an agreement stating
they will work for Beaumont full time for 2 years following the training program. If they do not meet these expectations, they will be required to pay back the cost of the program in the amount of $4,000.

The program runs all year round and there is a new class every 10 weeks.
