Colleen D. Lauster, Pharm.D., BCPS, CDE
Dr. Lauster received both her BS in Pharmacy (2000) and Doctor of Pharmacy (2001) from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After receiving her degrees, Dr. Lauster completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago
and an ambulatory care specialty residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan (2002-2003). She joined faculty as an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in September of 2005. Prior to coming to the
university, Dr. Lauster was a clinical specialist in Internal Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Lauster's clinical practice area is in Adult Internal Medicine patients at UPMC Presbyterian. She is a certified diabetes educator and has a clinical
and research interest in the areas of diabetes and patient education
Ericka B. Ridgeway, Pharm.D., BCACP
Dr. Ridgeway received her Bachelor's of Science Degree and Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She completed both a Pharmacy Practice Residency and Primary Care Specialty Residency at Beaumont Hospital (2005-2007).
Dr. Ridgeway is currently practicing at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan as an Ambulatory Care Specialist in both a Pharmacy Managed Anticoagulation Clinic and an Internal Medicine Clinic. Her practice interests include diabetes, hypertension,
hyperlipidemia and anticoagulation management.

Dr. Rowley received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan in 2007. She completed a PGY-1 Residency at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2008. She then completed a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Residency
at Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, Michigan in 2009. Following her PGY-2 residency she accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Ferris State University Faculty member with a clinical appointment at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for
Medical Studies.
Deborah Virant-Young, Pharm.D., BCPS
Dr. Virant-Young received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2008. She completed her PGY-1 Residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan in 2009. She then completed a PGY-2
Ambulatory Care Residency at Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak, Michigan in 2010. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology for Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University.

Jiz Thomas, Pharm.D., BCACP

Dr. Thomas practiced Pharmacy as part of the INMED program in Honduras. She is currently practicing as an Ambulatory Care Clinical Specialist at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Elaine Ng, Pharm.D.
Dr. Ng received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Michigan in 2011. She completed her PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Residency in July 2013. Dr. Ng is currently practicing as an Anticoagulation Specialist at Northshore University
