Beaumont Hospital, Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Beaumont Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical
care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit, a Level II trauma center, and newly renovated family birthing center.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program has a resident complement of 8, accepting two residents per year. Physicians accepted into the program will follow the requirements of the ACGME and graduates will be certified by either ABOOG or ABOG. All
residents attend weekly lectures, monthly conferences, as well as other various educational activities through Michigan State University Statewide Campus System.
