Internal Medicine interns rotate through general internal medicine services and several sub-specialty services. Majority of candidates enter the Medicine Track Internship, complete their General Internal Medicine training and become board eligible in three years. During the 2nd and 3rd years, residents complete a rotation in all required medical sub-specialties with additional months in the critical care complex rotation and approximately 6 months set aside for elective rotations.
