Giving lectures and participating on rounds is an integral part of the teaching program and are part of the fellow's responsibilities.
These responsibilities increase each fellows' cognitive skills. Each fellow is held as a resource to the fellow community hospital, as well as to the osteopathic profession.
Rotation and curriculum
The clinical rotations and curriculum provide the resident well-rounded exposure to all aspects of clinical gastroenterology. The fellow achieves competency in gastroenterologic, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. The fellow is also exposed to clinical nutrition. Fellows will also gain experience through rotations in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Advanced Endoscopy, and Manometry.
