Required clinical education must be completed in one of the following:
- ACGME-accredited residency
- AOA-approved residency
- A program with ACGME-I Advanced Specialty Accreditation
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada – Accredited residency
- College of Family Physicians of Canada accredited residency
Required application documents
- a standard ERAS application
- three letters of recommendation (preferably one by the Program Director where residency training was completed)
- USMLE transcripts
- personal statement
- upon matching with program, ACGME, ACGME-I, or CanMEDS Milestones evaluations, must be sent to the fellowship program, from the matched resident’s core residency program
