Ga-ram Han, MD

Dr. Han grew up in The Gambia in West Africa and attended Carson-Newman University in Tennessee where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts and completed her general surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic, AZ. In her spare time, she loves traveling, cycling, going bachata dancing and daydreaming about adopting a golden retriever. 

Vishnu Pemmaraju, MD

2022-2023 Graduate

Dr. Pemmaraju grew up in Troy, MI and attended Michigan State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to attend The Ohio State University College of Medicine where he earned his medical degree. He completed his general surgery training at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN. In his spare time, Dr. Pemmaraju enjoys golfing, watching Piston's Basketball and Spartan football, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

He will join the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak following completion of his fellowship training.

Ashley Hill, MD
2021 - 2022 Graduate

Dr. Hill grew up in western Pennsylvania and earned her medical degree from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She completed general surgery residency at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, serving as Academic Chief Resident. In her spare time, Dr. Hill enjoys hiking, spending time with her wife and pets, kayaking, and cooking. 

Robin Friedman, MD
2020 - 2021 Graduate

Dr. Friedman grew up in Central New Jersey and attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ  where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. She obtained her medical degree from Rutgers RWJMS in 2015 and completed her general surgery residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden NJ. In her spare time she enjoys cycling, traveling, and reading.

John Bauman, MD
2019 - 2020 Graduate

Dr. Bauman grew up in the St. Louis area and attended the University of Tulsa where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in biology. He obtained his medical degree from Southern Illinois University in 2014 and remained there to complete his general surgery training. He will join the department of colorectal surgery at William Beaumont Hospital following completion of his fellowship training.
