Event Description

A Comprehensive Review of the Latest Advances, Current Trends and New Innovative Therapies for Cardiovascular Disease

The 2024 Beaver Creek Cardiovascular Conference has been designed to provide a comprehensive review of the latest advances, current trends and new innovative therapies for cardiovascular disease, delivered by national leaders in the field. Interact with faculty during case-based sessions that address challenges in the diagnosis and management of common cardiovascular conditions such as atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and valve disease. The course will also feature a case-based fellows program, and a focus session on innovations in cardiovascular care.

Objectives

  • Discuss new advances in cardiac CT imaging
  • Describe the role of lipoprotein (a) in cardiovascular disease
  • Discuss future approaches in treating hypertension
  • Discuss the diagnosis and management of cardiac sarcoid
  • Describe the role of revascularization in ischemic cardiomyopathy
  • Discuss new approaches in obesity management
  • Review the diagnosis and management of coronary microvascular disease
  • Describe how to assess and manage tricuspid regurgitation
