Corewell Health is the new name for Beaumont.

Our residency is linked to the Transitional Year Program through the NRMP. Candidates that match with our diagnostic radiology program will automatically match for a Transitional Year at Beaumont Hospital and will not need to secure a preliminary clinical year on their own.

Eight Diagnostic Radiology residents are selected each year through the National Resident Matching Program. Applications are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

For international medical graduates, we require ECFMG certification. The institution will sponsor an H1B or J1 visa. You must have completed USMLE Step 3 to obtain an H1B visa.

For osteopathic graduates, we require both USMLE Step 1 and 2 to be eligible for application.

The selection committee reviews each application individually and uses multiple criteria to determine who will be invited to interview.

At the completion of the training requirements, residents are eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology.
