The Otolaryngology-Orofacial Plastic Surgery program at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills is a five-year residency, including the tracked internship. Established in 1979, Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills proudly supports the education and surgical training of Otolaryngology/Facial Plastics Surgery residents and has many ENT graduates across the country. This residency is approved by the AOCOO-HNS and fulfills requirements set by the guidelines for training. The program received ACGME Initial Accreditation, effective January 25, 2018.
The residency provides a wide exposure to techniques involving management of head and neck pathology, pediatric ENT, head and neck trauma, airway emergencies, as well as post-operative care of patients. ENT residents provide all Emergency Department call and inpatient consultation services with supervision from attending physicians.
Affiliated with the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM) ENT residents coordinate and participate in the Statewide Campus System (SCS) Otolaryngology Symposiums of
