At the Beaumont Weight Control Center, weight problems are treated medically. Because we know that being overweight isn't just about looks or how your clothes fit. It is a serious medical condition. Studies have proven that being just 20 percent overweight can increase your risk for heart disease, diabetes, stroke and even some cancers.
