Laser vein ablation is an innovative, non-surgical solution that cauterizes the veins with laser energy. This procedure is minimally invasive and can be completed in less than one hour.
Two of the more traditional vein ablation methods include phlebectomy and sclerotherapy. Phlebectomy involves removing the problem veins through micro incisions. Sclerotherapy uses a fine needle, which injects a blocking agent to control the vein. Both procedures are offered at the Beaumont Vein Center.
