When it comes to treating liver and pancreatic cancer, the faster treatment begins the better. The Beaumont Multidiscplinary Liver and Pancreatic Cancer Clinic was developed so patients with known or suspected liver or pancreatic cancer can be evaluated by our world-class specialists in a single, comprehensive appointment. This allows our specialists to speed the treatment process and help alleviate the pain and stress that patients face.
Patients may refer themselves or be referred by their physician. You may benefit by coming to the clinic if you:

Your Treatment Team
Before you even set foot in the clinic, our team will have already studied your records and results, and conferred on that your specific medical situation. At the end of the day, the clinicians will provide an exact diagnosis and the best treatment course. Treatment plans are based on the latest research results, with a focus on safety and patient outcomes.
Two nationally known medical directors lead the clinic, Robert Jury, M.D., vice chief of surgical services for program development, and Alan Koffron, M.D., director of Beaumont's multi-organ transplant program. The entire team considers the medical, physical, psychological and social needs of each patient, so that critical resources are provided efficiently and with regard to personal circumstances.
A nurse navigator will help gather the results of your tests and provide support and guidance during diagnosis and treatment. Our clinic staff members will communicate findings and recommendations to all referring physicians, who are considered integral parts of the treatment team.
