Research

Beaumont offers patients with Gastrointestinal, pancreatic or hepatobiliary malignancy the opportunity to participate in clinical trials though our involvement with ASOSOG, the American College of Surgeons Oncology Group. In addition, the Beaumont Tumor registry provides a database for ongoing clinical research. New initiatives for the evaluation and follow-up of patients with cystic lesions of the pancreas are being used to help define the natural history and cancer risk of these abnormalities.
