Multi-Disciplinary Clinic

Suite 350

Monday - Friday
8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Multi-Disciplinary clinics in oncology provide a collaborative, multidisciplinary care process that enables patients to make informed treatment decisions. At Beaumont Hospital, Troy, the clinics are currently offered for breast, prostate, colorectal and lung cancers. After diagnosis, the patient is referred to the proper multidisciplinary clinic, where patients and family meet and have their case reviewed with the multiple specialists on the same day.

An Oncology Nurse Navigator from the Wilson Cancer Resource Center coordinates the entire process, including follow-up appointments and education. Along with multiple specialists and the Oncology Nurse Navigator, patients are introduced to other services of the Wilson Cancer Resource Center, Cancer Clinical Trials and other aspects of their care, and leave with a treatment plan.
