Our Speech and Language Pathology program provides services to adults, adolescents and children who have experienced a loss of communication.

The department has over 60 speech and language pathologists who work in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation and conduct comprehensive evaluations and set up treatment plans to help individuals achieve their communication goals.

Each speech-language pathologist has a Master’s degree, has earned the Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) through our national organization (ASHA), is licensed by the State of Michigan and has specialized training in their chosen area.

Our services span over the three Beaumont hospitals and several outpatient programs all within the health system.
