Social Work

Beaumont recognizes the value of psychosocial support for their patients and families. Social Work services are available throughout the organization; dedicated social work departments are housed within the three hospital locations. Throughout the continuum of care, social workers assist patients and families with multiple issues, such as: adjustment to illness, counseling to cope with grief and loss, access to resources, support groups, and psychiatric intervention.
