Safety City U.S.A.
Beaumont Hospital together with the Royal Oak fire and police departments will offer Safety City U.S.A., a group of programs that focus on educating children, teens, new parents and seniors on various safety issues.
The programs at Safety City U.S.A. will provide education through activities that are hands-on, interactive, age-appropriate, and most of all - fun! The "classroom" at Safety City U.S.A. is actually a replica of the inside of a home, so students can learn how to handle real-life situations. Through Safety City U.S.A., our goal will be to increase the awareness of preventable injuries, while improving the habits and behaviors of students - adult and child - who participate in the programs.
