To address any spinal pathology and associated movement impairment through evaluation and treatment of the entire biomechanical chain to balance the musculoskeletal system and maximize neuromuscular function. The goal of spinal physical therapy is to allow each patient to achieve their optimal capacity to perform all functional daily activities required by their lifestyle and the demands of their environment.
Service Overview
Spinal physical therapists perform a comprehensive orthopedic and neurological examination and develop and implement a multi-faceted treatment plan that incorporates both manual therapy and supportive functional therapeutic exercise. The clinical care provided to the patient may include:
Individualized home exercise programs are created for each patient. The spinal physical therapists educate the patient in self-directed, long-term management of their spinal pathology to avoid recurrence of problems.

Licensed Physical Therapists, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapists, Certified Mechanical Diagnostic Therapists, Certified Athletic Trainers, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists, Certified Polestar and Stott Pilates Instructors are on staff to meet patients' needs. Each of these certifications requires advanced post-graduate education.
