The Beaumont Foundation is hosting the “Grosse Pointe Golf Classic,” to fund the development of a special care nursery in the Shery L. and David B. Cotton, M.D. Family Birth Center at Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe.

Grace and Adam Burns of Rochester Hills were selected as Grand Prize winners of  Beaumont Health System’s ‘Tell Your Beaumont Baby Birth Story’ contest on Mother’s Day.

Seven Beaumont Health System nurses were honored as winners and runners up by Oakland University’s School of Nursing and Board of Visitors at its 24^th Annual Nightingale Awards for Nursing on May 10.

"The Goodness of Homemade Baby Food” is a single-session course from 6to 7:30 p.m. at the Beaumont Health Center, 4949 Coolidge Hwy., Royal Oak. Cost is $15 per person. Registration is required. To create greater awareness about women’s heart disease and healthier lifestyles, the Ministrelli Women’s Heart Center and Hour Detroit magazine are hosting Spring Fling, a community health fair on May 18 from noon-4 p.m., at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
