GiveMiracles.org provides donors options to support Beaumont Children’s Hospital
Donations help fund activities, like bingo,
for Beaumont Children's Hospital patients.
The most important gift you can give this holiday seasons doesn’t require special wrapping, but provides hope and courage to thousands of local hospitalized children at Beaumont Children’s Hospital. This holiday, Beaumont Children’s Hospital is looking to community supporters to help check off items on a holiday wish list for area children as part of Give Miracles, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program. Individuals are able to join together to purchase items ranging from Beau the Bear stuffed animals to patient treatment scholarships for rehabilitation, oncology or speech therapy patients and many other opportunities for kids at Beaumont Children’s Hospital at givemiracles.org.
In its second year, Give Miracles provides various donation options on its new website, www.GiveMiracles.org, allowing donors to designate where the funds are used at the hospital. Donations of any amount go directly to Beaumont Children’s Hospital benefitting area children.
“Through the Give Miracles program, we hope to raise the much-needed funds for items that make a big difference for our patients,” explains Brian Berman, M.D., pediatrician-in-chief, Beaumont Children’s Hospital.
Beaumont Children’s Hospital provides lifesaving care, impactful community services and programs for more than 100,000 local kids each year. “Charitable giving is at its peak during the holiday season,” says Matt Romkey, associate director, CMN, Beaumont Foundation.
GiveMiracles.org visitors are given three options to donate: general donation, gifted donation and Crowdfunding. Donors can choose what their donation supports by selecting from the Crowdfunding catalog on the website. From art supplies to supporting cancer research, donors can contribute toward the total amount needed to purchase the selected item and track the progress. Additionally, donations can be made as a general contribution, or as a gifted donation that goes toward the greatest needs of the hospital.
“Our mission is to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible,” adds Romkey. “All funds raised in the community, stay in the community, and with a donation of $5, $100, or $2,000, we are able to fulfill our mission and help local kids this holiday season.”
