Beaumont offers community health lifestyle series
Learn about nutrition, exercise and weight management in three-part series
Beaumont Health System offers “Wellness to Well-Being,” a healthy lifestyle series focusing on nutrition, physical activity and weight management. Classes will be held Tuesdays, May 1, 8 and 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Beaumont Medical Center, Macomb Township (conference rooms A and B), 15959 Hall Road. Cost is $30. Participants will attend three, 90-minute sessions, each led by a registered dietitian and an exercise physiologist, who will structure each class around nutrition, exercise and weight loss.

“This series allows community members to take an active part in preventive health and wellness,” says Lucy Sternburgh, manager, Employee and Community Health Promotion, Beaumont Health System. “Classes will offer participants the tools they need to make healthy choices in their daily lives.”
