We are committed to ensuring that graduates of our program will have an excellent foundation to succeed in the business of practicing medicine. We are very proud of the proven results and the feedback we continuously receive from our graduates. The practice management curriculum is extensive and designed to provide educational opportunities throughout the entire three years with a focused month during the second year of residency. The rotation can also be tailored to meet individual resident's personal and professional goals.
Residents will have the opportunity to meet with experts in the fields of risk management, malpractice insurance, interviewing, employment and insurance contract negations. During the rotation and through workshops residents will also have the opportunity to discuss and learn aspects of practice design and selection, billing, and insurance reimbursement. We are one of the few residency programs that have a full time documentation coding education specialist dedicated to ensuring that residents become confident with this critical aspect of financial success in private practice.
Our curriculum is designed to ensure that residents will have the skills and knowledge necessary to be a successful family physician in today's health care environment.
