Ultrasound and Fetal Imaging
When you're expecting a baby, you tend to worry.
Is my baby growing properly?
Is my baby healthy?
Talk to your physician about your concerns. Your doctor may request an amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling or obstetric ultrasound exam.
We'll help answer your questions.
- Our doctors limit their practice to obstetric ultrasounds. By exclusively working with pregnant women, we've developed an accuracy for finding out what you need to know.
- Beaumont was one of the first in the nation to be certified for obstetric ultrasound by the American Institute for Ultrasound Medicine.
- Beaumont's fetal imaging physicians are board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists who have sub-specialization in Radiology or Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Our doctors are improving ultrasound's ability to evaluate, diagnose and monitor the health of unborn children. We conduct research, publish scientific articles, and author book chapters about the use of ultrasound during pregnancy.
- All of our sonographers, specialists who perform ultrasounds, are certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. The certification assures quality of the exam and your safety.
