Laboratory Services
Beaumont Laboratory provides laboratory testing for the diagnosis and treatment of common and rare disorders. The laboratory serves patients at Beaumont Hospitals as well as physicians who operate in private practice, clinics and medical centers.
Diagnostic testing is performed at the Royal Oak, Troy and Grosse Pointe campuses and several of the Beaumont Medical Centers. The laboratory is directed by a team of professionals, including medical directors, pathologists, PhDs and medical technologists.
Beaumont Laboratory provides more than 10 million results per year on blood, body fluids and tissues. All tissue specimens, including biopsies, are examined and diagnosed by board-certified pathologists who have exceptional expertise in tissue diagnosis, cytogenetics and molecular pathology.
