Physical Therapy - Neurological
The Beaumont Health Center offers Physical Therapy services by specially educated and skilled clinicians to address individuals with limited abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Physical therapists assist the individual in regaining optimal function through strengthening, mobility training and education.
Conditions Treated
A wide spectrum of neurological impairments are treated, including Lou Gehrig’s Disease, amputations, anoxia, cerebral aneurysm, CVA (stroke), encephalitis, Multiple, Sclerosis, multi-trauma, Parkinson’s disease, tumors of the brain and spinal cord, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injury.

Physical Therapy - Orthopaedic
Beaumont Health Center offers Physical Therapy services for patients who have had an injury or orthopedic surgical procedure involving bones/joints to facilitate their rehabilitation. Physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and athletic trainers work together with the patient to assist them in regaining optimal function through strengthening, mobility training and education.
Conditions Treated
A wide spectrum of orthopedic impairments are treated including arthritis, total joint replacement, fractures, neck and back injuries, sprain/strain injuries, tendonitis, fibromyalgia, sports injuries and joint disorders.
Benefits of Treatment
- Improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion to maximize function and facilitate return to sports or daily activities.
- Reduce and/or relieve pain
- Instruct the patient and/or family in exercises specifically designed for the patient’s condition and level of function.
- Improve body mechanics
