Application requirements

  • submit an application in ERAS
  • must be a graduate of an LCME or AOA approved medical school
  • USMLE (Step 1, Step 2 CK and Step CS) are required before your interview
  • Passing score for COMLEX required

Residency Selection

  • Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills policy is to grant equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons
  • Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills Department of Orthopaedics participates in the ERAS matching process. The Director of Medical Education and residents also participate in the interview process
  • selected Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills residents are notified that appointment is on a one-year basis, subject to renewal based on a resident's performance review
  • residents' performance is reviewed on a regular basis and in accordance with the regulations of the ACGME
  • residents are notified of any deficiencies or criticisms that need to be rectified prior to entrance into the following year or for completion of the final year of residency.
