Do residents rotate at other hospitals?
Yes.
Residents rotate through inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, newborn medicine, pediatric emergency medicine and obstetrics at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Residents may also rotate there during their elective months. Electives can also occur at other Beaumont Health hospitals.
How many Family Medicine programs are within the Beaumont system?
There are four Family Medicine programs. Beaumont, Troy; Beaumont, Grosse Pointe; Beaumont, Dearborn (formerly Oakwood); and Beaumont, Farmington Hills (formerly Botsford).
Each location is a unique, individual program, and must be applied to separately.
Are you an opposed or unopposed program?
The Family Medicine Residency programs at Troy and Grosse Pointe are unopposed.
Do you sponsor ECFMG's?
Yes. We sponsor J-1 and H-1B visa.
What percentage of your residents pass the Boards on their first try?
