Corewell Health is the new name for Beaumont.

Southeast Michigan - great place to live and work

Southeast Michigan is rich in history, culture, arts, and world-class amenities. The metro-Detroit region is the automotive capital of the world and has some of the most diverse communities; a place where different cultures come together to offer a cosmopolitan experience for the whole family. Beaumont Health has locations throughout the area, with eight hospitals anchoring the communities for decades in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties.

Lakes, parks, shopping, sports, cultural activities, education and neighborhoods where you can walk -- all this adds up to livable communities where you can raise your family, build a home or find many ways to spend your leisure time. Just minutes to the bridge or tunnel to Canada, Windsor is our neighbor just across the Detroit River. Whether it's fishing, golfing, shopping, enjoying a concert, play, movie or just enjoying a sunset ... there’s a lot of Pure Michigan to enjoy.

Each of Beaumont’s eight hospitals offer a unique experience – from small community-based hospital settings to very large academic centers located in large cities and downtown areas. Many local freeways and highways connect the cities and suburbs, which make urban, suburban and rural living a possibility at any of our residency locations.

The opening of Comerica Park, Ford Field and Little Caesar’s Arena have made the area around Greektown and the Fox Theatre even more popular for visitors.

The museum features large touring exhibitions that provide continuously changing variety. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is one of the most popular and prestigious orchestras in the world. The festival has been bringing the themes and language of Shakespeare's greatest works to summer audiences since 1995.

People

Dining, shopping, arts, education, and sports are only a fraction of what metro-Detroit area has to offer. There is so much to enjoy here. However, what residents love most is the quality of people who live here. The area attracts a population that is intellectual, culturally accepting, and fun-loving. It truly is a tremendous place to live during residency and beyond!
