Program provides didactic and clinical experiences covering the
full-spectrum of Vascular/Interventional Radiology. Both vascular and
non-vascular interventional procedures are included in the training
program.
Experience is gained in vascular procedures including
- diagnostic arteriography
- vascular angioplasty/stenting
- endovascular
stent grafts
- embolotherapy
- transcatheter infusion therapy
- IVC
filters
- venous access
Non-vascular procedures include
- percutaneous
imaging-guided biopsy and drainage
- percutaneous gastrostomy
- percutaneous nephrostomy and ureteral stenting
- percutaneous
transhepatic biliary procedures
