July 25, 2015
The numbers are staggering, to date, 1.4 million Americans have been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. In Michigan alone, there are more than 47,000 individuals with one of these diseases, many living in the metropolitan Detroit area.
ConQuest was established with the goal of “conquering” Crohn’s and Colitis through the creation of a Center of Excellence for Digestive Diseases at Beaumont Health. Our goal is to support an advanced state-of-the-art facility for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Crohn’s and Colitis.Patients of all ages, from childhood to adulthood, will have access to new and innovative imaging techniques, medical care, and holistic therapies via a wide range of enhanced clinical services and support systems, to meet the needs of all patients and their families. Please visit the ConQuest website for ticket information.
This year, we look forward to a special performance by Jay Leno. We are also honored that Roop Raj from Fox 2 news will again emcee this exciting evening. ConQuest will be held at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, MI on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Our guests will also have the opportunity to view many vintage cars at this fun summer evening event!
Acclaimed TV late night show host, admired stand-up comedian, best-selling children’s book author, much-in-demand corporate speaker, lovable TV and movie voice-over artist, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist…it’s no wonder that Jay Leno is widely characterized as “the hardest working man in show business.”
Jay Leno’s late night television ratings domination included more than two decades of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” winning every consecutive quarter of his hosting over the past 19 years. “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” has also taken home the trophy for “Favorite Late Night Show” in the annual TV Guide Awards determined by voting viewers, and he was recently installed in the Television Academy's Broadcast Hall of Fame.
When he is not performing, writing, and doing charitable work, Leno keeps busy doing voice-over work in such movies as “Cars” and “Igor” and the hit-TV show “The Fairly Oddparents” (Nickelodeon), where he voices the character “The Crimson Chin” – a superhero with a superpowered chin – was inspired by Leno’s own noted jawline. He also is an in-demand corporate speaker for companies including General Motors, and he is a monthly columnist in “Popular Mechanics.” In his “spare” time, he enjoys working on his collection of classic cars and motorcycles. In fact, he has built a number of cars, including an acclaimed eco-car in his eco-friendly green garage.
