Yes iCan! - Postponed

Join Beaumont's HOPE Center for "Yes iCan! to learn new ways to teach children with autism and other developmental disabilities, using an iPad.

Join Jamie McGillvary, a limited licensed psychologist and board certified behavior analyst, for an interactive discussion about:

  • obtaining an iPad from your school district or insurance company
  • teaching children to properly handle an iPad
  • finding relevant apps for children at different developmental levels

The presentation is designed to encourage interaction with other parents. The event is hosted by Beaumont’s HOPE Center, a behavioral program that emphasizes parent training and family interactions for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Stroke: Time is Brain - May 9 - 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Learn more about the symptoms, treatment and prevention of stroke at our free educational session. The session will include a question and answer session with the presenting physicians, mid-level providers, nursing staff, and representatives from physical medicine and rehabilitation, and speech and language pathology.
