The Center for Human Development (CHD) at Beaumont Children’s Hospital is committed to using a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach to diagnose and treat children and young adults who experience developmental, behavioral, and learning challenges. The broader mission of CHD encompasses community outreach, research, and professional training.
With locations in Berkley, Mich. and Grosse Pointe, Mich., the Center for Human Development evaluates and treats children who are showing evidence of, or who are at risk for:
- autism
- attention deficit disorders
- developmental delays
- dyslexia
- emotional impairment
- other learning disabilities
- social dysfunction
