Leadership
At Beaumont, nurses are recognized as an important part of the organization. That's why we have special committees and boards dedicated to helping improve the practice of nursing. Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak's Office of the Chief Nurse Executives (OCNE), and Beaumont Hospital, Troy's Nurse Executive Board (NEB) are made up of nurses that provide leadership for nursing practice and patient care at the two hospitals. These two groups lead nurses and support staffs in providing quality patient care using clinical expertise, research, collaboration and education, while demonstrating a spirit of support and respect.
Beaumont's Professional Nurse Council (PNC) profiles a forum for staff nurses to examine issues that effect patient care, develop appropriate plans to improve the care and work as a team to implement identified strategies. The council also provides information, insight and recommendations to Beaumont's administrative team. Every nursing unit within Beaumont is represented on the council.
