Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak has been named #1 hospital in Michigan by U.S. News & World Report. With 10 nationally ranked specialties, this marks the 20th consecutive year the Royal Oak hospital has been ranked among the nation’s best hospitals.

Beaumont’s 1,070-bed hospital in Royal Oak is a major academic, research and referral center with Level I trauma designation. It was named Michigan’s first Magnet-designated hospital for nursing excellence and is a member of the Children’s Hospital Association. The hospital ranks among the top hospitals in the United States for inpatient admissions and for surgical volume. Beaumont, Royal Oak has been named the “most preferred hospital” in a five-county area for 18 consecutive years in a consumer survey by National Research Corporation. Cardiology & Heart Surgery - #25

Beaumont is Michigan’s, and one of the nation’s, most experienced providers of heart care, recognized on U.S. News & World Report’s 2014-15 “America’s Best Hospitals” list for cardiology and heart surgery as the top hospital in Michigan. The Beaumont Heart and Vascular Center is a comprehensive, state-of-the-art facility that’s dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart problems.Beaumont’s Ernst Cardiovascular Center offers a collaborative approach to treating and managing the most complex heart and vascular conditions, including  atrial fibrillation, heart valve disease, heart failure, aortic aneurysm and dissection. The center also offers low-cost, preventive heart screening for adults and high school students. Beaumont Health System offers specialized care and health programs to address the medical needs of women. Nephrology - #37

Neurology & Neurosurgery - #35

The Neuroscience department at Beaumont treats all neurological conditions of the brain and spine for children and adults including stroke, epilepsy, Chiari malformation, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and migraine, among others. Beaumont also has a number of Neurology sub-specialty clinics; a Neuromuscular Clinic for children; a Pediatric Epilepsy Clinic; and a Craniofacial Clinic.
